With more powerful bass and mid response, the Black 3109 excels at both modulation with a CV input and attenuator along with pitch tracking with its secondary CV2 input, making it great for achieving lead and bass lines. The internal analog VCA makes the 3109 quite flexible for taking in oscillators or sound generators and making full voices, just add an envelope or control signal into the CV input for completion.
